Ex-SCORE Model Crystal Gunns Outed in School Scandal

VINELAND, N.J. - Ex-SCORE model Crystal Gunns made national headlines this week after her porn career came to the attention of officials at the elementary school where she works as a part-time cafeteria and playground aide.

The D'Ippolito Elementary School in Vineland hired Gunns (a.k.a. Louisa Tuck) in June. Outraged parents are now calling for her to be fired, but the local board of education has been advised against taking action.

"We have no real legal stance or legal right to do anything for two reasons -- one, it's not illegal, and two, it's not on school time," said school superintendent Charles Ottinger.

Mainly known for her busty magazine layouts, Gunns has appeared in three adult videos. In an interview with TheDailyJournal.com, she defended her ability to work around children.

"If this is about morality, our President-Elect has admitted to doing [cocaine], and he's our president. Does that make him a bad person?" she said. "Bill Clinton smoked pot. Does that make him a bad person?"

Gunns also works as a supervisor for children's programs at the YMCA of Vineland.

"The YMCA has been great to me," she said. "They are a Christian place that believes that people can change. I'm sorry I had to put them through this."

Shawn Rivers, a friend whose two children are enrolled in the YMCA preschool program, called Gunns "an excellent role model with good values."

"She has nothing but love and compassion with all kids," Rivers said. "There's never been a problem with her reputation or conduct."

While Gunns told reporters she has not been involved with the adult industry for five years, photos show that she attended the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in 2006. Gunns was named SCORE model of the the year for 2008 in an online fan poll and accepted the title in a taped segment that appeared on Scoreland.com in April.
