Cicciolina \nBUDAPEST - Once a porn star, now a member of the Italian Parliament, Cicciolina - known now under her real name, Ilona Staller - has a third credential on her resume: former Communist spy.
She revealed it during a Sunday television interview on a program dedicated to disappearances of files on people who worked for the secret police under the former Communist regime, Reuters says. Most of those files are believed destroyed.
Staller revealed in a Sunday television interview that she was recruited as a spy while she was 19 years old and working at a major Budapest international hotel. At the time, she was a waitress.
She says three men approached her one day and asked if she'd like to make more money. She replies yes and they told her what to do, she told RTL Klub TV. She said she received no special training for espionage work but did receive instructions on which guests to speak to and what to ask them.
Now 47 years old, Staller continued in the work a few years before she moved to Italy. She starred in countless adult films before beginning a political career which took her to election to Italy's Parliament.
