VAN NUYS, Calif.—Evil Angel on June 30 soft-launched new banner PansexualX with the scene "Slick" starring Natassia Dreams and Charlotte Sartre. Dreams also signed a two-year, six-scene non-exclusive directing deal for the label, kicking off with a second scene available at launch in which she co-stars with Jenna Foxx.
PansexualX focuses, according to a company announcement, on "sex beyond gender [that] aims to highlight the individual experience of each performer. Stars have free range to act out their own fantasies, with no requirements for positions and no expectations about sex acts as they relate to gender. All PansexualX roles, partners and crew are approved by talent. Performers choose whether they top, bottom or verse in a scene. Content features a wide variety of gender identities and sexual alignment. It's more about what is special about each model than fetishizing their features."
A big part of achieving the banner's goal, the company said, is having performers direct scenes, and in regard to her shooting style, Dreams said she feels that porn concentrating on genitals leaves performers and viewers with an empty experience. "It's about more than parts," she commented, "it's about the person."
Dreams added, "I've directed for other companies on a scene-by-scene basis. I loved it. I'm looking to expand my passion for directing by committing to several scenes with PansexualX, and am looking forward to doing the same with other companies."
For her scene with Foxx, Dreams recruited the “glam squad” (makeup, hair and styling crew) according to their experience with ethnic models. The scene, titled “How to Get at Me,” is described in promo materials as "an exploration of personal pleasure," with the director's vision summarized as "highlight[ing] Black-on-Black porn, seeking to expand hyperbolized Southern California beauty standards to a more realistic vision."
Other performers cast in PansexualX scenes include Daisy Taylor, Kenzie Taylor, Korra Del Rio, Pierce Paris, Dante Colle and Aubrey Kate. The scenes in the launch are reality-style, with extensive, personal interviews offering an inside view of the performers’ sexual and personal preferences. Future scenes will include storyline, and there are plans in the works for a full feature.
The first DVD/VOD release under the PansexualX banner, a four-scene movie titled PansexualX Porn Crush, is slated to release July 21.
