Ethan Kane Explores the Dark City for Adam and Eve

Boyle Heights is a solidly working-class neighborhood made up of prewar California bungalows and drab apartments. Across the street from Hollenbeck Park, rising above it all, are the dilapidated remains of Linda Vista Hospital, which will soon begin the transformation into the Buena Vista Lofts living space.

Until then, the building's owners are renting out the building for movie shoots, one of which took place Wednesday: Adam & Eve's Ethan Kane-directed period piece, tentatively titled

A big-budget epic, the old hospital was humming with activity as a large crew (by porn standards) set up equipment.

"So far, this is my biggest project to date, and it's one of Adam & Eve's biggest," Kane told AVN.com. "It's a film noir type of story with Tommy Gunn, Eva Angelina and Ron Jeremy as the three main characters. It's your classic story with a villain and a hard-boiled detective and a femme fatale. It's very stylized."

AVN Award winner Tommy Gunn, decked out in period suit and fedora commented to AVN.com, "Today is the third day of our shoot. I'll be doing a scene with Marie Luv later. We're also doing a three-girl scene that's a fantasy of my character. We just finished up some of our dialogue. It's pretty good stuff."

Sitting in the makeup room before her scene, blond newcomer Ashlyn Page laughed as she told AVN.com, "I don't really know what's going on! I know that I'll be doing a girl/girl/girl scene with some hot-ass girls. It'll be fun."

The "hot-ass" girls Page referenced are Ava Rose and Karlie Montana. Her description is apt.

A project like this doesn't come off quickly. Kane noted, "It's going to be in post-production for a long time. It's scheduled for release in January. It's definitely going to be a blockbuster."
