Empire Video Distributors, one of the largest “one-stops” on the West Coast, celebrated one year at its state-of-the-art warehouse by throwing an industry party last Friday.
Over 150 invited guests were treated to barbeque from Dr. Hogly Wogly’s Tyler Texas Barbeque in Van Nuys and encouraged to roam the 13,000 square foot warehouse.
“We threw a similar party as an ‘office warming’ when we first moved over here in 2004 and it was a huge hit, so I decided to make it an annual tradition,” said Empire president Roy Karch. “It’s a great way to thank the people who helped us get to where we are today.”
Among those helping Karch celebrate were leaders from several of the major manufacturers on the West Coast, including Elegant Angel’s Patrick Collins, Red Light District’s David Joseph, Extreme 2.0’s Rob Black, Juicy’s Jerry Estrada, Zero Tolerance’s Greg Alves, Third Degree’s Joey Wilson, Nectar’s Sean Logan, Gentlemen’s Mike Esposito, Acid Rain’s Mitch Spinelli and Hustler’s Craig Jelin, among others.
