LOS ANGELES—Dr. Susan Block (aka Dr. Suzy) spent part of last Saturday's Dr. Susan Block Show announcing the winners of her "Suzy Awards." Block is an internationally renowned sexologist, talk show host and best-selling author of The Bonobo Way: The Evolution of Peace through Pleasure.
The awards, now in their sixth year, are meant to honor excellence in broadcast artistry and exhibitionism. The DrSusanBlock.Tv Awards, a.k.a. “The Suzys,” recognize erotic performance, sexual intelligence and "Weapons of Mass Seduction," celebrating The Bonobo Way of "peace through pleasure" in all kinds of weather and paying tribute, with love, humor and deep respect, to those who work and play in the fields of peace and sexuality, with the goals of improving sex education and enjoyment, advancing sexuality research, developing more interesting and sex-positive pornography and creating a more bonoboësque ethos in the world.
Award winners were selected from guest appearances and products used on the 45 live broadcasts of The Dr. Susan Block Show in 2017.
