LAS VEGAS, NV—Renown sex-positive educator and activist Dr. Carol Queen Ph.D. will be speaking this evening at the Erotic Heritage Museum fon the topic of, "Asking and Answering on the Sex-Positive Spectrum: Enthusiastic Yes, Comfortable No, Cleat & Coherent Maybe." The talk will begin at 6 p.m..
In its ten years-plus existence, the Erotic Heritage Museum has hosted a spectrum of speakers exploring the full range of human sexuality. Author, editor, sociologist, teacher, and sexologist of the sex-positive feminism movement, Dr. Queen is a fitting a guest lecturer for the country's premier sex education and exhibition space. As the producer of adult films, featured instructor and star of both installments of the Bend Over Boyfriend, and currently serving as staff sexologist and chief cultural curator at Good Vibrations, San Francisco's historic and premier sex toy retailer, Dr. Queen is connected to the pulse and concerns of sexually active adults, and is a clear voice of reason certainly welcomed in the current client fraught with such discord.
"It's a scary time for sex education and tolerance in general," EHM's director Victoria Hartmann offered. "We all deserve to feel safe in exploring our sexual interests and issues. I can't think of anybody better to break it all down than the wonderful Carol Queen."
Dr. Queen's lecture is free to attend with the purchase of an entrance to the Erotic Heritage Museum. Seats are limited, and on a first-come-first-served basis, attendees are advised to arrive early.
