MORGAN HILL, Calif. - Inkyo Volt Hwang, a.k.a. adult director Chico "Wanker" Wang, was found dead in an Economy Inn motel room Sept. 29, according to the Morgan Hill Times.
Hwang's body was discovered hanging halfway out of the room's bed by the motel's manager, after the manager was unable to get a response from the room.
The Times reports that Hwang was "implicated" in the Aug. 21 death of his girlfriend Maryam Haley, a.k.a. performer Haley Paige. Haley's cause of death has yet to be released by the King City Coroner's office, which performed her autopsy and is still awaiting toxicology reports.
The Santa Clara County coroner's office performed Hwang's autopsy and is waiting for toxicology reports. According to the Times report, police are not considering his death suspicious.
King City Sgt. Steve Miller, who is handling the investigation of Haley's death, was unavailable for comment at press time. AVN will report further details of this story as they become available.
