Devinn Lane Holding Casting Call For First Self-Directed Feature

Fresh off her recent branding as a pottymouth due to an Atlanta radio station’s poor technical handling of her comments, Wicked contract performer Devinn Lane has announced that she will be directing her first plot-based feature, Pillowtalk, and that she will be holding an open casting on Thursday for it.

“Every now and then, you just get slammed with a moment of creativity and that moment came for me and I wrote two scripts and Pillowtalk is one of them,” Lane told AVN.com.

Lane wrote the script for fellow Wicked Girl Sydnee Steele who will star in this tale of a group of friends who gather yearly to talk about their life experiences.

“Devinn’s a great bud and I respect her business-wise,” Steele said of director Lane, who will not be appearing in the video. “Everything she touches always works out well. She’s always in it for the talent and I figured it was time for me to have some fun with another director.”

“It kind of answers the age-old question of what women talk about when they get together. They talk about sex,” Lane said of the plot.

Lane’s casting call for this video, a rare event for Wicked, is for performers who have not worked for Wicked or in a feature before. Talent wishing to be considered should be ready to be photographed and videotaped, to do a cold read and have two forms of ID. Interested talent should email [email protected] for more information and to RSVP.

“Wicked hires a lot of the same people and they’re great but I am sure there’s a lot of new talent out there that can act or who might want to try working in a feature. If you’re a new girl, this is your chance to work for Wicked,” Lane said.

Pillowtalk will be in stores in the early autumn.
