Dennis Publications Launches 'R-Rated' Magazine

Mainstream publishing and marketing company Dennis Publications brings a fresh approach to covering the adult industry with the launch of its monthly online magazine R-Rated.

Billed as "an information magazine to support the adult industry," R-Rated offers interviews, photos and feature articles dealing with all aspects of erotic entertainment.

Among those featured in the premiere issue are agent Mark Spiegler, fashion photographer Pietro Lucerni, European directors Pierre Woodman. Louis Moire and Viv Thomas, performers Roxy Deville, softcore model Nella, Digital Playground CEO Samantha Lewis and contract star Jesse Jane and AVN CEO Darren Roberts.

Dennis Publications decided to launch 'R-Rated' online after research showed that 85 percent of the audience interested in adult entertainment uses the web as a primary source of information.

"R-Rated magazine strongly believes that there's still an open market [for adult] that hasn't been touched yet," a company rep told AVN. "With our concept and philosophy we want to bring that extra new life to the adult industry so that the real professionals in the business cannot only enjoy from extra feedback but also having the
chance to present themselves with breaking clichés to a bigger audience and the future buyer."

Dennis Publications is launching a major ad campaign to promote the online startup. Summing up the company's approach to adult content, the magazine's motto is "X-rated but not second-rated."

"As a professional-minded mainstream and marketing company, we accept the adult industry as a mainstream product," the company stated in its press release. "Because of this concept we will not publish any hard and penetration pictures in our issues, but we do bring it on a way that there's more success guaranteed."

Dennis Publications is now accepting ads for 'R-Rated' and invites all adult industry companies and performers to participate. The company will design soft ads free of charge for companies that only have hardcore graphics.
