LOS ANGELES—Delphine Films goes the comedy route with its latest featurette "The Cooking Show," available now at DelphineFilms.com.
Written and directed by Oliver, aka "Bloomer Yang"—who is exclusive to Delphine parent company Model Media US—"The Cooking Show" stars April Olsen, Robby Echo and Nathan Bronson.
In the featurette, Olsen plays "Beverly Holly," a social media star who hosts a weekly talk show called "Talking Trash Over Brunch." Echo, in his fourth appearance for Delphine, plays a fictionalized version of himself, in the form of a porn star turned director for Beverly's show. Bronson portrays a Michelin Star chef named "Justin Reers," which also borrows from his real life, as he hosts his own YouTube show called "Cooking With Nathan," where he cooks and interviews other people from the adult industry.
The scene involves Bronson's character storming off the show when he appears to get offended by his treatment, which prompts Olson and Echo to cook up a plan to cheer him up.
“We couldn’t stop laughing on set. April, Robby and Nathan are so funny together. It was a great day on set!” a company rep said. “We couldn’t think of anyone better for these roles than them.”
