CYBERSPACE—Well, after three grueling weeks of fan voting, it's finally over: Adult star Dani Daniels has been crowned champion of GameLink.com's 2017 Porn Star Madness Tournament. It's the second time Daniels has won in three years, having earned the crown first in 2015. To celebrate the new champion, GameLink will run a 15 percent discount on all VODs featuring Daniels through April 10.
Daniels received almost twice as many votes as opponent Adriana Chechik in the contest’s final round. Altogether, more than 100,000 votes were cast during the contest, which ran from March 16 to April 1.
“Thanks to everyone who voted for me and put me over the top. It was an epic battle of bushes and tushes,” said Daniels. “Thank you to GameLink for promoting this battle. Two time champ... can anyone say threepeat? Love you all!”
The promotion, which began with 16 adult stars, featured four rounds of voting by fans who were encouraged by the competitors themselves, who tweeted, posted and snap-chatted their supporters for their votes.
As newly-crowned champion, Daniels will earn a $500 grand prize and the chance to earn the unofficial title of world’s top porn star. She succeeds last year’s winner, Casey Calvert.
