LOS ANGELES—Dan Dangler grilled hot dogs, snacked on watermelon and got all soaped up before peeling off a skimpy red bikini in her Twistys Treat photoshoot.

The fast-rising creator dazzled in her holiday-themed cookout and carwash as the July 2024 Twistys Treat of the Month.

“It literally felt like the Fourth of July and it wasn’t even the Fourth of July,” Dangler says.

Lea Lexis directed and styled Dangler, while veteran photographer JT shot her photos.

The gorgeous 28-year-old native of Detroit tells AVN becoming a Twistys Treat this early in her adult journey is something special.

“It’s such an honor that I’ve even gotten chosen for anything,” Dangler says. “I’m just really grateful for the opportunity and I’m super excited to see everything.”

Dan explains she was familiar with the classic Twistys brand, but she didn’t realize it was a girl/girl only studio.

“I never worked for them before and it was actually kind of funny because in my video I didn’t know Twistys was just a girl site, so I said something about a dick, and then they had to be like, ‘It’s just girls,’” Dan says with a laugh.

She chose showstopper Adria Rae for her Twistys Treat scene partner.

Dangler relocated to LA from Michigan to go full force into adult just over a year ago.

“I spent a whole year traveling out here before,” she says. “It was just time to move. I was spending way too much money on traveling.

“Plus all my work was over here. It wasn’t an option for me to stay back in Michigan.”

Dan says she loves living and working in a more welcoming space for adult entertainment.

“Everybody does a weird job in LA,” she jokes. “It seems like everyone has their own weird thing they have going on.”

Dangler built an enormous following as a streamer on Twitch, where she recorded herself gaming for about four years before transitioning into explicit content creation.

She even took her gaming to the next level, competing in pro tournaments for prize money.

“I used to do all sorts of tournaments,” Dan says.

Now she is happy with her strong start in adult but remains focused on her long-term goal—to open her own animal sanctuary.

Dangler already has rescued seven dogs that range from 5 to 85 pounds—and all different breeds from Chihuahuas to Great Pyrenees.

Before adult she worked full time at two different assisted living facilities. In one she cared for elderly patients who were rehabbing from broken bones and in the other she helped residents living with dementia who were an escape risk.

“It was a lot of fun and it brought me joy to do it,” Dan says. “It wasn’t even like a charity. It gave me so much compassion for people.”

Dangler also has her likeness featured on Riley Reid’s Clona.ai platform, which allows creators to generate digital copies of themselves powered by artificial intelligence.

Dan says having her own clone inspires her curiosity.

“I want to know who’s talking to my clone,” she says with a smile. “I want to know what my clone is doing when I’m not around.”

Dangler estimates she’s already done twenty-something studio scenes to go with countless content collabs in the past year.

“I’m grateful, but it’s only the beginning,” Dan tells AVN. “I’m not settling. It’s only going up from here.”

Dangler explains that her memorable stage name—she wanted it to sound like a guy’s—came about after much thought and consideration.

“I stole it from a friend,” Dan says with a laugh. “Their name was Dangler, it was their video game name and I ended up kind of stealing it. It took me an entire month to figure out my name.

“I went crazy into the marketing aspect of it.”
