With over 40 styles to choose from, this year Coquette offered holiday inspired styles that are ideal for gift giving during the season. The lingerie company also included elegant outerwear pieces well suited for celebrations with family, friends, and colleagues.

"We certainly have widened our scope with this year's holiday product offerings," said Coquette designer Maria Sardini. "In designing this year's collection, we wanted to emphasize that our garments are functional for all ocassions. One can easily find the perfect corset or victorian inspired dress for a holiday party. Everyone loves to wear velvet during the holidays, so we incorporated hints of velvet throughout the collection."

Many of Coquette's retail clients report that consumers are making several unique selections from the Holiday collection, some naughty and some nice. The company reports a definitive increase in the number of Coquette purchases for holiday parties and for celebrating this season. At the same time, they notice that consumers still want to emphasize that sexy is fun for the holidays and the company's naughtier pieces are still staple items for holiday shopping.

The company also reports an overwhelming amount of interest in their Valentine's 2006 collection, which makes up the second half of the catalog.

"Offering both collections in the same catalog has worked well for us," said Marcus Horea, Coquette's VP of marketing. "In doing this, we are able to introduce our Holiday and Valentine's offerings simulataneously. Our clients appreciate this because they are able to do their Holiday ordering and start thinking about ordering for the Valentine's season."

Within the Valentine's collection, clients will notice heart embellishments, romantic lace accents, passionate reds, and flirty pinks. The new collection features 20 styles ideal for Valentine's gift giving.

"We focused on romantic details for the Valentine's collection that are pretty and subtle," Sardini noted. "It is so important to offer intricate details in the Valentine's collection, to ensure that the pieces don't scream Valentine's, but that they say it in the most subtle way. Our focus is on making the pieces sexy and pretty without making them overtly Valentine's, so they can be worn all year."
