Club Jenna is set to release Sophia Syndrome, their first title showcasing exclusive Club Jenna girl, Sophia Rossi. Rossi is highlighted in the title, alongside Club Jenna owner and AVN Hall of Famer, Jenna Jameson, Eva Angelina, Sascha, Melissa Lauren, Jan Val Jean, Tommy Gunn and John West.
Rossi signed with Club Jenna in March of ’05, and told AVN.com that she’s ecstatic about her first feature. “I can’t express enough about how happy I am with Sophia Syndrome,” said the blonde starlet. “It’s the most orgasms I’ve ever had.
“I’ve had my website [www.sophiarossi.com] up and running since January, and some of my members have been getting a little impatient for my first title…I’m glad I’m able to finally give them what they want.”
Howard Levine, national sales manager for Vivid Entertainment Group, told AVN.com that Rossi truly shines in her first movie for the production company. “Sophia does an incredibly hot girl/girl scene with Jenna Jameson,” said Levine.
“Sophia is truly in the tradition of Pam Anderson…she’s a blonde bombshell, in every definition.”
Rossi, who travels to Porn Valley from her home in Arizona once or twice a month, said that the fact that she had known Jameson personally before doing her first scene, made the girl/girl tryst much more comfortable. “The chemistry between us was that much better because Jenna is a friend of mine, and that was good, because it was the very first scene I’d ever shot.
“It turned out to be one of the most explosive scenes you’ll ever see.”
Rossi’s second scene ever was also her first boy/girl scene, this time with male performer Jan Val Jean. “Sophia’s first boy/girl scene with Jan Val Jean smokes,” said Levine. “The title has some really great male performers in it.”
Levine added that the release, helmed by industry veteran Laurent Sky, also benefits from great direction. “Laurent is a critically acclaimed director and he did a great job with this one,” said Levine.
Rossi said that her experience with Sky was fantastic. “He’s just a great director,” said Rossi. “He’s insightful and creative and passionate.”
Rossi went on to say that she couldn’t see herself with any other company than Club Jenna. “I can’t bow down enough to Jenna [Jameson], and the fact that she’s lead the way for how women can portray themselves [in adult entertainment]. She’s really shown that a woman can be both sexual and powerful at the same time…that I can be sexy without disrespecting myself.”
As for the future, Rossi told AVN.com that she just finished shooting another feature in Los Angeles. “I was in Los Angeles for forty eight hours and I shot for thirty of those,” she said. “I'm very dedicated to making a scene perfect and real…so that the chemistry is just right. I want to make something that I’m proud of, so I take a lot of time choosing my partners.” Rossi said she will also shoot another title next week, tentatively titled, Sophia Loves Pain.
Rossi said that when she’s not shooting, she’ll be dedicated to making the best website possible. “I always try to take the time to talk my fans, one on one. I’m very grateful to be with Club Jenna and Playboy, and to have the adoration of all these great fans.”
Sophia Syndrome will be the first title released since Club Jenna was acquired by Playboy Enterprises at the end of June. The title will be distributed by Vivid Video and ships today, with an August 19 street date.
