Cleopatra Records Picks Up 2nd Small Hands/Empty Streets Album

LOS ANGELES—Music label Cleopatra Records has signed Empty Streets, aka reigning AVN Male Performer of the Year Small Hands, for the release of his second EP "Age of Regret."

The artist, whose real name is Aaron Thompson and whose musical style is classified as "modern darkwave," released a video last month for the album's title track, co-produced by Jaime Preciado of post-hardcore band Pierce the Veil. The single is available via all major digital streaming platforms.

"I'm incredibly excited to begin the next chapter of Empty Streets alongside Cleopatra Records," Thompson said. "To join their legendary roster with so many diverse, iconic musicians and artists is a dream come true."

"Cleopatra Records is looking forward to releasing Empty Streets' fortcoming 'Age of Regret' EP," label rep Matt Green added. "Darkwave fans will love it."

Empty Streets' debut album "Demons" was released last summer and went on to earn the multi-hyphenate entertainer a 2021 AVN Awards nomination for Maintream Venture of the Year. A new video for the "Demons" single "Save Me" makes its debut today on the Empty Streets YouTube channel.

"Marrying photogrammetry, augmented reality and traditional shots in a lonely hotel room, 'Save Me' is a brooding peak into my mind," Thompson offered. "It's a song about desperately trying to escape sins of our fathers, sins of our youth, sins of society and finding some salvation somewhere, anywhere."
