Circle Jerks' Keith Morris Appears in Vivid-Alt Feature 'Circa 82'

LOS ANGELES - Director Dave Naz flashes back on the hardcore punk scene in Circa 82, a new feature from Vivid-Alt.

Circa 82 stars Ashley Blue, Sasha Grey, Lexi Belle, Madison Young and Maya Hills as "disenchanted" punk rock chicks. The movie features tracks from the Circle Jerks' classic 'Group Sex' LP and cameos by several people from the L.A. punk scene, including the Germs' Don Bolles and Circle Jerks frontman Keith Morris.

Also known for his work with the band Chemical People, Naz drew on his own memories of the scene in directing the movie.

"Everything was so fresh and exciting -- the girls, the clothes, the energy and the anger of the music," said the director. "It was music with attitude and the Reagan administration helped make this possible. It was rebellion! Fuck the government!"

The Circle Jerks memorably ridiculed swingers on the title track of the 'Group Sex' album and took aim at skanks with 'I Don't Care' (originally recorded by Morris with Black Flag.)

"I think it's quite a coup for us to get the music of the Circle Jerks on the soundtrack of this movie," said Vivid-Alt head Eon McKai.
