Church Burns Vintage Porn Found at Drive-In

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Blasphemy! The Associated Press reports that a Jacksonville church publicly burned at least a hundred 35mm porn film reels from the '70s and '80s found in the projection booth of a 60-year-old drive-in theater.

Christ Anglican Church bought the Playtime Drive-In for a reported $1.4 million after the theater closed in May. Church officials held the "ceremonial burning" and "holy hosedown" on Sunday to cleanse the 13-acre property, driving out the demonic presence of R. Bolla forever.

According to reports, a priest blessed the water from a Jacksonville Fire and Rescue truck brought in to keep the blaze under control. Among the torched prints was Kinky Business, starring an underage Traci Lords.

At least they didn't burn the drive-in. The report says the church intends to renovate the outdoor theater and use it to show family movies. Maybe they'll screen a double-bill with a Ron Ormond religious exploitation epic (The Burning Hell) and the ultimate drive-in family film, Poor White Trash Part II.
