A California State University, Chico fraternity has been placed on suspension pending an investigation of its participation in the taping of Shane’s World Studios’ College Invasion series.
University officials suspended the Chico State chapter of Phi Kappa Tau (PKT) on Friday after confirming that the fraternity had allowed Shane’s World to use their frat house as a location for the College Invasion series in December.
The suspension prohibits the fraternity from hosting parties or participating as an organization in university sanctioned events until the matter is resolved. Chico State’s Council, the governing body of Greek organizations on campus, has also suspended PKT.
For the College Invasion series, Shane’s World sends porn stars to parties thrown by college students. At the parties, held at off-campus locations, the students compete in a variety of adult games for sexual rewards that range from handjobs to full-blown intercourse.
“Essentially, the students bring a party and we bring the porn stars,” Jennie Grant, owner of Shane’s World, told AVN.com. Grant confirmed that Chico was the location of College Invasion 6, already in stores, and No. 7, which is currently in post-production.
“We were invited by members of the fraternity a few months before we went there. Its not like we just show up with a keg, some girls, and a camera,” Grant said.
“We go through a lengthy process to ensure they meet our requirements – such as having a location off-campus, and that we’ll be able to have bouncers present, and that they will be able to throw a party that will draw enough people – it wouldn’t really work if only five people showed up.”
Shane’s World selected a handful of PKT members, on the basis of their appeal to the porn stars, to take HIV tests at AIM a few weeks before the party.
“They had two weeks to back out between the test and the actual party – and not a single person changed their mind,” Grant said
Brittney Skye, Marie Luv and Mary Jane, three of the porn stars that appear in College Invasion 6, each had sexual intercourse on camera with a different PKT member.
The male students weren’t the only participants at the Chico State parties.
“We had more college girls participating than ever,” Grant said. “We’ve never had any college girls do much on camera. This time things were different.”
While multiple AVN Award-winner Lexington Steele had sex with Mary Jane in the middle of the party, a female college student kissed Jane’s breasts. Later that same evening porn star Trina Michaels danced topless with two female students and made out with them.
Another female student went down on Skye while she was giving a blowjob, while yet another female student had oral sex with Shane’s World regular Jerry.
The story has already been picked up by the newswires and at least one major news show has already called seeking an interview. Previous college scandals have led to coverage of Shane’s World in everything from Time to Rolling Stone.
