WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Adult retailer Chi Chi LaRue’s is offering free signs to those participating in the #Resist March on June 11.
Instead of a traditional PRIDE parade—which was first held in West Hollywood in 1970—this year, West Hollywood and Christopher Street West organizers have instead planned the #Resist March, which starts in Hollywood and ends in West Hollywood.
By participating in this year's march on June 11, marchers can demonstrate heir commitment to equal rights for the LGBT community, women, immigrants and for people of all races to send the message the U.S. will not be divided.
“As crazy as it sounds, this year more than ever we need to advocate for equality and human rights for all,” said Chi Chi LaRue.
Drop into Chi Chi LaRue’s at 8861 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood Thursday, June 8, through Sunday, June 11, to get a free #Resist sign.
The #Resist March will take place at 8 a.m. Sunday, June 11, at the corner of Hollywood and Highland and continue to West Hollywood. #Resist protest signs are limited, so make sure you stop by early to pick up your sign.
