Latina performer Vicki Chase thought it was an honor when she heard her name called as the winner of the Best Oral Sex Scene category during the AVN Awards Show.

“It was the second or third time I had been nominated in that category,” she said. “It’s a skill I am kind of known for, so I always thought maybe someday I’ll get that trophy and it will be my one AVN Award.”

While she was backstage, still being congratulated for her first AVN Award win for her scene in the movie Let Me Suck You 6 (Elegant Angel Productions), is when she got the shock of her life, she said.

Chase was soon returning to the stage, in front of the hundreds gathered for the ceremony, accepting her second trophy of the night for Best Star Showcase for V for Vicki, which was directed by Jonni Darkko and released by Evil Angel.

“That was the shocking one,” she said. “I worked really hard for that. I was so honored to win. I just wanted to do my very best for that movie. It was such an honor when I found out it was nominated. That’s such a big category.”

Chase, who has been in the industry for five years now, did much of her early work for Digital Playground, but has branched out to work with other studios in recent months. When the opportunity arose for V for Vicki, she said she jumped at the chance.

“After so many years in the business, it was just so special to have an entire movie that was all about me,” she said. “And it felt like everyone wanted to do their absolute best for this movie. Everyone worked well together. When Jonni wasn’t sure where to take a scene, I would offer suggestions, and when I wasn’t sure what to do, he would give me ideas. Everything just came together and really worked. And to win the AVN Award for it was just amazing.”

Chase, who continues to perform and feature dance across the country and all over the world—she has a trip to New Zealand coming up—is hoping the two wins will help her expand her career even more.

“I really enjoy the acting part of the business and wish I had more opportunities to act,” she said. pointing out she did quite a bit of acting and performing in her early years with Digital Playground.

“But everything has just been an honor,” she noted. “I got into this industry because I wanted to be the best Vicki Chase I could be, and this career has given me the chance to travel, to be at red carpet events and now win awards. I just want to keep doing my best for myself and this industry.”
