Charlotte Stokely, Lena Paul Join Braun's 'Justice League XXX'

LOS ANGELES—Adult performers Charlotte Stokely and Lena Paul have just joined an elite group: the crusading porn superheroes selected by director Axel Braun to star in Justice League XXX: An Axel Braun Parody.

Wicked Pictures announced today that Stokely, the May 2017 Penthouse Pet of the Month, and Paul, DVD Erotik’s Best New Starlet, have joined the cast for the Wicked Comix release. As Batwoman and Lana Lang, respectively, Stokely and Paul bring more wattage to an all-star assembly that includes Romi Rain as Wonder Woman, August Ames as Lashina, and Jessa Rhodes as Knockout.

Stokely is replacing Shyla Jennings, who had been originally cast in the Batwoman role but was forced to drop out due to a scheduling conflict.

“My big movies always have a lot of moving pieces and an incredibly complicated schedule,” said director Axel Braun. “Shyla lives back East, and unfortunately when we had to move one of the days she was unable to rearrange her traveling schedule, so we had no choice but to recast her role. Luckily, Charlotte Stokely immediately sent me a phenomenal audition video, and showed an absolute commitment to the character, so I am very, very excited to have her on board, especially since I already have plans for a Batwoman solo movie in 2018."

“Is this for real? Batwoman? Me?" Stokely enthused when she learned of the casting news. “When I was a young girl, I dressed as Batman three years in a row for Halloween, because they didn't have Batwoman costumes available in the ’90s. I'm a huge fan of comics and I love the Batwoman character. She's appeared and disappeared throughout the comics over the years, but I have a feeling she is here to stay! Her personal history is very touching, showing her strengths in perseverance and her attempted romantic relationships as they come and go. It's very easy for me to relate to her personally.”

“She also lives a double life, just like I do,” Stokely revealed. ”As an openly gay/lesbian character, I'm pleased to show support for the LGBTQ community. What I love most about Batwoman, her strengths come from within. She is not of celestial blood, nor has she had a weird chemical reaction, etc. It’s all her. I haven't read the full script yet—I've only seen the lines for my audition. I'm very excited to see how Axel has written out her journey, he's very creative! DC has left it open ended so anything could happen! I'm incredibly grateful to Axel for considering me to play this role. When my agent Sandra at OC Modeling called and told me to send in a video audition I couldn't believe it. I memorized my lines as quickly as possible and just went for it. So many emotions!”

Lena Paul, who will appear on the cover of Axel Braun’s Dirty Blondes next month, quickly became one of Axel’s favorite performers.

“I knew Lena was an extraordinary performer, but I honestly had no idea how impressive her acting was until she came to audition,” said Braun. “Her character will have a very interesting arc in my next two big movies, and I’m thrilled to have her be a part of this epic journey!”

Lena Paul was equally ecstatic upon learning she’d landed the role of Lana Lang. “My casting came after the initial casting announcement went out, so when my agent called me, I was completely surprised and grateful, as I assumed that I had missed the opportunity. Naturally that made it all the more thrilling for me! I'm looking forward to being on set with such a talented cast of performers, as well as Axel Braun and his team!"

Ryan Driller and Charles Dera are set to reprise the award-winning roles of Superman and Batman, along with Wicked Girl Jessica Drake (who’s returning as Cat Grant), Katrina Jade as Mercy Graves, Aiden Ashley as Catwoman, Derrick Pierce as Lex Luthor, Tyler Nixon as The Flash and reigning AVN Best Actor Xander Corvus as Green Lantern.

Principal photography will begin the first week of June, with Braun once again lending his meticulous perfectionism and comic-geek cred to the superhero genre. Fans can look forward to top-notch special effects and costumes along with the sex scenes.

Speaking of costumes, Stokely is quite excited about hers. “I went for a sizing today for my handmade costume—people are going to love it. Once again, Axel has spared no details. I am so stoked to play Batwoman!”
