Chanel Preston, Madelyn Marie Named 2011 AVN Awards Trophy Girls

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—AVN Media Network has selected rising adult stars Chanel Preston and Madelyn Marie as the trophy girls for the 2011 AVN Awards Show taking place Jan. 8 at the Pearl Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Preston, who began her career in adult in January, shot her first scene for Vivid Entertainment’s Brand New Faces series and has turned white-hot with a string of high profile movies for the top studios in adult. The 24-year-old Alaska native who now lives in Hawaii is honored to be on stage during the prestigious AVN Awards ceremony.

“It’s completely a huge honor to be up on stage to present awards to my peers,” Preston told AVN. “With thousands of people in the audience and millions watching on Showtime, it’s great exposure for me and I will love every second of it.”

Preston attended the show last year and remembers being in awe of the glitz and glamour on display that night.

“I wasn’t in the business yet, but I came to meet people, and I just remember being blown away by how beautiful all the girls were,” she said. “The show last year was a blast and I had such a great time. Seeing everyone dressed to the nines was quite an experience. I hope this experience will help raise my profile and I’m completely honored to have been chosen.”

Ravishing and statuesque brunette Madelyn Marie has been in the business since 2008 and quickly became one of the most in-demand freelance performers. She signed an exclusive contract with Bluebird Films in March to become the studio’s first contract star in the U.S.

A native of Savannah, Georgia, Marie has attended the AVN Awards before and was nominated last year for Unsung Starlet of the Year. She told AVN that she’s honored to be up on stage during the awards presentation.

“I’m looking forward to a great night on stage and being front and center during the show,” Marie said. “Winning an AVN Award is the industry’s highest honor and it’s a privilege to be chosen as the girl that gets to give them out.

“Who hasn’t seen the awards on Showtime? What an incredible experience it will be to be a part of the show this year. I will try not to trip on my dress or stutter at all. Besides, I have Tori Black, Riley Steele and Chanel Preston up there with me. What more could I want?”

While contracted to Bluebird Films, Marie has been involved in numerous high profile projects, most notably playing Katwoman in the company’s big-budget BatfXXX: Dark Knight Parody. She’s also been featured in Bonny & Clide and Passenger 69. Marie is set to star in Baberunner, Bluebird Films’ big release for 2011.
