LOS ANGELES—The ChamPAIN Room, a charity event, will be celebrating this year's Mardi Gras beginning at 8 p.m. on February 29 at Sanctuary Studios LAX, 10914 S. La Cienega Boulevard, Lennox, CA 90304. The event will be hosted by Queen Ana Algos and sponsored by adult retail chain The Stockroom.
“The ChamPAIN Room is a kinky play party with the twist that anyone can perform on stage and the proceeds go towards charity,” said Queen Ana Algos. “Join us for a body-positive burlesque club style play party. All sexes, shapes, colors, genders, and orientation of people are invited to shake what their mama gave them in the name of charity and a good time!”
Charities that will benefit from this event include, but are not limited to, Bikers Against Child Abuse, LA LGBT Center, and Planned Parenthood. Confirmed to perform so far are Erotic Eevee, Temptress Tiny, Loli Devil, Folly, Sister Merci, Manila Bey, and of course, Miss Sanctuary LAX, Queen Ana Algos.
For those new to the art of burlesque and making it rain, Miss Emmeline will kick the night off with a class on the subject at 8 p.m. in Sanctuary’s Hades room. Performances begin at 9:30 p.m. on the main stage. Included in the evening's entertainment will be lap dancing, break dancing, and spanking contests, with prizes donated from Stockroom.com.
This is a dress-to-impress event, with wild colors for Mardi Gras and fetish wear encouraged.
