CAVR Announces 2005 Winners

In a year where she saw success as an actress, as well as made her directorial debut, Stormy Daniels has been declared Viewer’s Favorite Starlet, according to the Internet voting for the 10th annual Cyberspace Adult Video Review (CAVR) Awards.

Hillary Scott won Starlet of the Year, in a close race with Sunny Lane.

Rookie director Tim Von Swine took the honors for Director of the Year. The site mentioned that it was very rare for a new person to win, but Von Swine “had an outstanding year.”

In other CAVR awards, Dillan Lauren and Ava Vincent’s Cat Fight won the Behind the Scenes of the Year award. As the site claimed, “two gals fighting is going to be a winner every time."

Platinum X’s Baker’s Dozen 5 won for Best All Sex DVD, while Digital Playground’s Pirates won Best Feature DVD, with the most votes in any category.

Jewel De’Nyle Productions took the honors for Studio of the Year, a category which is based on the rating of all the studios for the year, rather than voting.
