LOS ANGELES—Growing up in a conservative family, Jenna Fireworks didn’t know much about porn.
But it all changed when her new best friend in school told her about the very adult goings on emanating from the Internet.
“I had a best friend when I was 13 and she was a bad girl, a baddie, and she said someday we’d be porn stars or something. I started saying it even though I never watched porn,” Fireworks said.
Once in college, the comely blonde was determined to excel and pursue a medical degree that would fulfill her wish to have a career that would help others.
“I wanted to go into medicine, but it was too rigid for me,” she said. “It would be difficult for me to work in a hospital.”
After working in various companies, she realized she had to reboot her career plans. “I tried working in offices and I hated it. I was a receptionist and I’d go to temp agencies and try different hats. I tried a lot of different positions and I just really didn’t enjoy it.”
Just then, the Colorado native made the jump to enter the industry and soon found herself an agent and got her first taste of a studio shoot soon thereafter.
“Everyone was really nice and very professional from the start,” she said. “I was terrified of cameras. Terrified. But I ended up having a nice time.”
She would go on to shoot for Naughty America, MYLF, Cherry Pimps, Evil Angel, New Sensations and many others, playing a young ingénue or stepsister with a hankering for taboo sex. Her striking looks and natural charm was winning over fans and producers alike as she found herself in much demand as her star continued to rise.
As for her most memorable scene, she had one that stood out:
“It was with James Deen with New Sensations and I was nervous because it was crossing an invisible line,” she said. “I never watched porn. I just had a different idea than when you actually start going to shoots. It was an interesting experience. It was fun. He was very professional. He was amazing. He did a fantastic job and told me to be myself. I don’t know how not to be myself. I’d asked him, ‘Should I tell the audience what really turns me on or do I tell them something else?’ His confidence is inspirational.”
But the more experience she had, the more she learned about performing and building confidence in herself and in her abilities on camera. By tapping into her own sensual and playful sides, she found her voice and unique persona that connected with viewers in a meaningful way.
“When I’m on camera I focus on the present,” she said. “I aim to create chemistry with my co-star and blend our sexual energy together for the best performance for fans.”
Among her favorite scenes are those where she gets to show her acting chops and play an engaging character.
“I love getting acting roles and being in front of the camera. I love just putting on makeup,” she said. “It’s just exhilarating to be on camera and learn about acting. There are a lot of layers there.”
When away from the set, the 5-foot-4-inch starlet finds her proverbial happy place in a variety of activities that take her away from business and the world of adult entertainment.
“I love going shopping, getting massages and hiking in nature,” she said. “I also love swimming, trying new foods and sex positions.”
As her career continues to grow, she is grateful for the support from fans, colleagues and other industry members who have been a part of her unique journey thus far.
As for the future, Fireworks is eager to explore mainstream acting and modeling as well continue to create her own unique content.
