Carmen Hart Gets In the Spirit of the Game

Wicked Pictures contract star Carmen Hart attended the fourth annual In the Spirit of the Game dinner and charity memorabilia auction which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 6.

The event, held to support the Professional Baseball Scouts Foundation, was a star-studded affair and featured a number of sports legends including "Say Hey Kid" Willie Mays, Tommy Lasorda, Dave Winfield, Cal Ripken Jr. and basketball great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Hart, who spent the evening mingling with the crowd, is no neophyte to the world of sports. She is a bona-fide baseball fan who played softball throughout her school years. "I was so excited and honored to be at this event," she said. "It was great to meet so many of the game's most important players. They are truly some of the most down-to-earth people I've ever hung out …they just happen to be in the public eye."

Hart was impressed by the auction, and said, "They had some really authentic, great items for auction that I would have been completely interested in getting if I had known to bring funds. They were auctioning off pieces from Babe Ruth!"

The dinner, which was co-hosted by Larry King and comedian Tom Arnold, raised over $750,000 to help baseball scouts in need.
