Carlos Batts Takes 'Kiss Attack' to San Diego Comic-Con

SAN DIEGO — Director Carlos Batts will promote his new Adam & Eve Pictures release Kiss Attack next week at the San Diego Comic-Con.

Billed as "an erotically illustrated comic book come to life," the movie stars Sasha Grey and April Flores in a new twist on the vampire myth. Batts used colorful sets and costumes to enhance the comic-book feel of his story about five daughters of Dracula wreaking sexual havoc with the help of a mad chemist.

To celebrate the release, Batts and cast members Flores, La Cholita, Lady Lava, and VMVX will sign posters and DVDs at the Last Gasp Booth at the San Diego Convention Center from noon - 1 p.m. on Friday, July 25, and Saturday, July 26.

Guests are invited to join the cast Saturday night at a private release party at the Casbah, located at 2501 Kettner Blvd in San Diego. This is a free show, but in order to take advantage of the free shuttle from the convention, guests should RSVP to [email protected] by July 22. Doors open at the Casbah at 7 p.m.

For L.A. area residents who can't make it to San Diego, Batts and friends will sign at the horror bookstore Dark Delicacies in Burbank this Friday, July 18 starting at 7 p.m.

Batts' previous movies for Adam & Eve include Young Hollywood and The Voluptuous Life.
