Candy Glitter on Findom, Clips, Her 'Cult' & AVN Stars

This is the cover story of the December issue of AVN magazine. Click here for the digital edition.

LOS ANGELES—Candy Glitter knows there is no reason to change a winning formula.

And for the notorious blonde, blue-eyed dominatrix whose subs address her as Princess Candy, what works best is following no formula at all.

“I am like a chaotic individual,” Candy says with a smile. “And I feel like that’s part of what makes me so successful is I like being in 10 places at once mentally.

“So I get a lot of stuff done, but there's not really a rhyme or reason to my schedule.”

The results speak for themselves.

The record-setting ballbuster—who loves Disneyland, Broadway musicals, pink everything and sex clubs in Berlin—in September became the first model ever to win a contest for the cover of AVN magazine, which will enter its 38th year in circulation in 2021, by outpacing the competition on AVN Stars.

Candy Glitter emerged victorious in the 30-day race for the December 2020 cover awarded to the top earner on AVN Stars in September. What made her achievement more remarkable was she led the contest from start to finish, leaving no doubt about her AVN supremacy.

Launched 18 months ago as a subscription-based community designed for adult creators to monetize their content without the worry of censorship or discrimination, @TheCandyGlitter has become a rock star on the platform since joining in 2019.

“I'm super excited,” Candy says. “I've been nominated for awards in the past, but this one kind of seemed like a no-brainer for me because it was just like—I want this and I can get it by doing what I do best—which is basically manipulating men out of money.

“So it was a clear path because I have an army of slaves already who were excited, and they wanted it for me, too.

“I think honestly their enthusiasm about the whole thing really helped because at a certain point they were like, ‘I can't wait to see you on the cover! I'm saving my money… I'm not going out to eat tonight so I can contribute to you during your live stream—so I can contribute toward your big month!’”

It turns out “big month” may have been an understatement.

The self-styled “professional brat” dominated in more ways than one in September, ringing up more than $125,000 in combined sales on all her platforms. Even with the lead going into the final week—the rankings for the top models are tracked in real time on the Explore page—Candy resisted any urges for premature celebration.

“I knew that I was in first the whole month but I didn’t—and still don’t know—by what margin,” she says. “But I always treat everything as if I'm in danger of slipping. I feel like that was what pushed me to go even harder.”

But there has never been any shortage of drive and motivation for the college-educated, smack-talking creator who raked in $20,000 in one day this past summer. Candy embarked on her journey to femdom fame as a full-time student in November 2013, when she decided to sell a pair of her panties on Reddit—for a $35 Amazon gift card.

She tells AVN she contemplated that first panty sale for more than a month before finally putting them online.

“I was like, ‘I'm hot. I'm attractive. And I feel like I need to make use of it somehow,'” Candy recalls. “So I was like, ‘How can I do this in a way that's profitable and fun for me?’”

Her panties sold almost immediately.

Candy remembers how it used to be a lot easier to make fast money from selling her undies back when she started.

“And then I think something happened where it got saturated, like from TV shows and stuff,” she says. “After that I was still selling panties but people would ask me, ‘Can you make this video to go with my panties that you're gonna send me?’”

A lot of those requests involved some sort of fetish. That got Candy thinking bigger.

“So I started kind of experimenting with that. And then I started realizing that I would get excited when people would ask me for femdom videos,” Candy explains.

“Then I started advertising videos as a thing I did aside from the panties. I'd say, ‘Oh, I can make you custom videos.’ I started selling pre-made videos to people individually without [using] a clip site.

“And so my favorites were like the cum-eating instruction videos and the humiliation videos; and small penis humiliation. I've always kind of been quick-witted. And I love to talk shit and just try to be witty and funny. So those videos I felt like gave me an outlet for that.”

That’s when things took off.

When Candy posted her videos on a couple of the established clip sites, they sold early and often.

“That's kind of feeling like it's becoming more saturated now, but back then I could just post the most basic small penis video and it would just like pop off like that,” she says. “I mean…it's still kind of that way now that I’ve got popularity, but that's not how it is as a standard.”

Even though she enjoyed brisk clip sales from Day 1, Candy was just getting warmed up. After all, she confesses, “I actually didn't show my face for a long time.”

“Because I was like, ‘Well, I don't know if this is something that I want to do—like long-term,’” Candy continues. “And I was just sitting there thinking about it one day and I was just like, ‘I feel like I could really go all in with this if I showed my face.'"

Seven years, scores of panties and hundreds of bratty clips later, the delightfully demanding mind-fucker enjoys $3,000-$4000 days without even leaving the house.

If there’s a fetish out there, Candy has probably been asked to put it on video. She continues to create dozens of short videos showcasing fetishes such as teasing & denial, financial domination, ignoring, humiliation, chastity, CBT (cock and ball torture), JOI (jerk off instructions), edging, ruined orgasm and just about every kind of body part worship imaginable, not to mention kinks such as blackmail fantasy, orgasm control, cuckolding and sissy training. At press time she had uploaded more than 360 clips to AVN Stars alone.

“I'd say my biggest two would have to be forced bi, so people want me to encourage them to suck cock. That is far and away my biggest seller. I'm starting to think that so many more men are just bisexual or just into that than you would even realize,” Candy explains. “And then financial domination—that’s probably a close second. And then just chastity, goddess worship.

“Those are all just big sellers for me. I feel like I'm going down the list now. … I can think of various forced bi videos that have sold just as much as certain virgin humiliation videos.”

Whatever the request, it’s clear that legions of men enjoy it when Candy gives them a verbal smackdown. She draws inspiration from the countless paid Skype calls and conversations with subs who have told her about their fetishes.

"People would call me and they would say, ‘Princess, I want to suck cock for you.’ So I’d start to be like, ‘OK.’ And then another person would call me and say the same thing. So I'm like, ‘OK, let me make a note to make a video of that,’” she says.

Upon subscribing to Candy’s glittering AVN Stars feed, fans receive a private message that costs $2 to unlock. It’s a seductive photo of Candy sitting in front of her pink wall with a signature call to action.

Princess Candy is here to melt your mind. Reply with the word "surrender" if you're ready for a lifetime of bliss.

Many take her up on it.

On the heels of her September to remember, Candy made October her personal playground on AVN Stars, too.

In one post, she introduced "Goontober 2020," giving her subs another swift kick to the groin after laying down the law with her “Cocktober” and “Locktober” mandates.

For some of you, locktober is not an option. Jerking and gooning is a better fit for you. You are at your most submissive when you a horny mindless gooner bot. So I present to you: GOONTOBER. Buy this clip and I will detail your plans for the rest of the month. It involves lots of edging, jerking and mindless STROKING.

Gooning is a state of being after a prolonged masturbation session where you haven’t achieved orgasm, when a guy becomes almost hypnotized by the feeling of his member. Candy’s goon squad is not unlike one of her main groups on AVN Stars.

She has created official Groups for her “Princess Candy Addicts” aka her Candy Cult; Virgins; Forced Bi Addicts; Losers; Findom Addicts and Chastity Slaves.

And Candy tolerates zero excuses from her slaves when it comes to the Candy Cult—“all are expected to join,” she declares in her description of the group.

If you don't join this group, you aren't a good boy. I will be going live for the good boys in this group *only* and sending special content to them as well. JOIN MY CULT.

Candy went on a historic run of winning in AVN’s first full season of contests, taking 11 out of 12 contests from July through October, including streaks of five in a row and then six in a row.

She won her 12th three-day contest at press time, placing first in the Halloween Candy competition that ended on Oct. 25, displaying a photo of herself holding Reese’s and a Hershey’s chocolate bar with the message, “Halloween candy from Halloween Candy.”

She captured the first prize of $750 for Most Stunning Smile on July 26, followed by Quarantine Moment, Summer Vibes, Guilty Pleasure, Hidden Talent, Creative Makeup, My Favorite Hobby, Body Paint, Fall Color, Favorite Footwear and Halloween Decorations.

For Summer Vibes, she posed for a picture in a field of daisies; she was photographed in a candy shop for Guilty Pleasure; and for Halloween Decorations, she wore only a lacy pink bra while concealing her cookie with a shiny pink pumpkin with the message, “Even during halloween (my favorite holiday!) it's all pink everything. Boo, bitch.”

Candy says she started using AVN Stars more because of the number of new features that were being rolled out without any hiccups.

Then when the contests ramped up over the summer, Candy recognized an opportunity.

“Because I wouldn't say I'm competitive, but I just like the nature of it,” she says. “And honestly, the contests kind of ignite my subs.

“They love to rally behind me and give me more paid votes. So it just kind of was like a win-win. You get money when you win the contest and you get money because your subs are like, ‘Oh, Princess, I want you to win.’ So I feel whenever the contests started, that's when I started really digging deep into AVN.

“And then when the cover contest came out, obviously, that was when I went into overdrive.”

Candy’s concept for the My Favorite Hobby contest entailed her showing her love for scrapbooking while wearing a pink dress, high heels and holding a pair of scissors with a pink handle.

“Favorite Hobby was one my favorites, because I literally made this scrapbook and I put some chastity keys on it and money. That was really fun,” she says.

The Princess didn’t just come up with scrapbooking out of nowhere—she loves to travel and does like to save some of her mementos.

“I travel a lot and so I take museum tickets and stuff like that and I put them in a scrapbook,” Candy says. “Obviously, before that I had not put chastity keys or 100-dollar bills into a scrapbook.”

One of her go-to places in America is the Big Apple, where she’s crazy for Broadway.

“I really love New York and I love going to Broadway shows,” Candy says. “So I miss that. I actually saw one of the last Broadway shows before they shut down for COVID. So I felt really grateful for that. I went to like three in a row right before they shut it down.

“… I love a musical. I love the energy in the room. What did I start with? Cabaret was what really got me interested in Broadway.

“I love the storyline. I love when they take movies—like I saw Pretty Woman. I'm a very big Pretty Woman fan, and they turned that into a Broadway musical and it was amazing. So I love seeing movies adapted into Broadway musicals in the modern time.”

Candy took 20 days for European vacation last year, visiting Italy, France, Berlin and London.

“I love traveling in Europe. I like to go to sex clubs in Berlin. London I love. I want to go back soon, hopefully, COVID-willing,” she says. “I really want to go to Japan. That's somewhere that I was planning to go before COVID hit. And I haven't been to yet but I'm hoping that once things settle down next year sometime that I can go to Japan.

“I absolutely love the food. So that's one of my big motivators. I want to just experience the culture.”

She’s intrigued by Japanese maid cafes, where waitresses dress in maid costumes and act as servants, treating their customers as masters and mistresses.

“That’s something I read about. There's an owl cafe and just fun little things that you don't typically see that I just I'd love to see, and then the mountains—and I desperately want to go to Disneyland Japan [in Tokyo],” Candy continues.

“Because I've been to Disneyland Paris, Disney World [in Florida]. Disneyland, California. And I'd like to go to all of them. I don't know if I'll end up making it, but Disneyland [in Anaheim] California is my favorite. Disneyland Paris didn't kind of have the same energy but it was still fun to see it.

“That's a goal of mine. That would be fun.”

When Candy sets goals, she tends to reach them.

She finds that even activities that don’t involve “work” turn into opportunities to increase her bankroll. Like shopping or going out to eat, for example.

In one post on AVN Stars on September 21, Candy outlined a few costs she incurred..

A few expenses you may cover from today:
Starbucks: $10
Lunch: $20
New plant for my office: $45
Cover one or all and them send me a message ;)

Three days later, she posted

Who's covering dinner tonight? Pretty girls should never pay.
$30 dinner
$20 drinks
$50 just because
Cover one or all and then message me.

On September 22, Candy splurged on clothes and asked for reimbursement.

Just spent $950 on new lingerie and outfits for filming. Send a tribute to cover all or part of it and then send me a DM and I'll show you which outfit you paid for and then you can wait patiently until I film in it ;) Your chance to fund my perfection.

“It’s almost like I reinforce my shopping by making money off of it,” Candy says. “And going out to dinners is the same way because I'll go out to dinner and post the hundred-dollar receipt and say go on AVN Stars to pay me back or whatever and then like three people do. And all of a sudden I've made $200 or $300 by going out to dinner.

“So my shopping is really encouraged by the fact that people reimburse it. They like to see that I'm spoiled. So yes, I do spoil myself. And then I get spoiled again, when they pay me back.”

Candy doesn’t just hustle men out of money for a living, she also finds creative satisfaction from her daily professional ass-kicking. Through it all, she has learned about what makes her tick.

“I’ve learned that I really thrive when I'm just doing my own thing and completely in charge of everything, which goes really well with my being a dominatrix,” Candy says. “And I think that I've also learned that being able to explore this creative side really brings out a very driven part of me.

“Because I wake up in the middle of the night and I start typing clip ideas that I thought of in a dream. I never really considered myself to be someone that would be so excited about something that they do, technically, for work.

“But with this, obviously, I make a lot of money from it, but it's also just this huge creative outlet. I always wanted a way to express myself creatively. I guess I didn't know it'd be as a dominatrix, but here I am.”

Even with her skyrocketing income, Candy maintains a healthy perspective on how far she’s come. While she acknowledges that she always wants more and to take things higher—that’s her brand—she also is thankful to have arrived at this rewarding stage in her career. What started with no expectations whatsoever has evolved into an online empire.

“I try to be very mindful and very appreciative of what I have and what I’ve built,” Candy says.

“But I think that sometimes you can get caught up with trying to hit the next milestone or win the next contest or do the next big thing or make the next top-selling clip. So I tried to sort of take a step back and be like, ‘Wow, you should just take a moment, bathe in all of your success and just feel how this feels and just try to soak it all in.”

She continues, “Because I think it is so easy to not be proud of what you've built. … I think it's so easy to just kind of forget where you started and where you are, and just try to be like, ‘I need more, I want more. Especially with being a financial dominatrix and being someone who is dominating, it's easy to be like, ‘It's never enough.’

“And, obviously, that's how I feel and how I'm perceived. But I'm still very grateful for what I have and for everything that I've built up to this point and how far I've come just from selling a pair of panties to now. To obviously, being on the cover and having this huge cult.

“People message me sometimes that I don't even know and they're like, ‘I have been buying your clips for years. I am just a huge fan.’ And I'm like, ‘Oh, wow, that's cool.’ It’s just people I've never even interacted with, so it's just crazy to think about.”
