CAMStars Kick Off 2020 AVN Show With Official Ribbon Cutting

LAS VEGAS—Emily Bloom goes live on MyFreeCams on an almost daily basis in various states of undress, but she had never cut a ribbon before Wednesday.

“I was a little bit nervous, but I’m glad it went smooth,” Bloom joked after joining seven of her fellow CAMStars and AVN Media Network CEO Tony Rios to officially open the 2020 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. “It kind of makes me feel like I’m a mayor because mayors cut ribbons.”

Bloom, the May 2019 AVN CAMStar, was accompanied by Emily Lynne (April 2019), Maya Bum (June 2019), Lindsey Leigh (August 2019), Abbey Rhode (September 2019), Skyler Lo (November 2019), Aphia Demieux (December 2019) and Alexa (January 2020), who posed for the press contingent outside The Joint, where the 37th AVN Awards Show will be held on Saturday night.

“I’m really excited for the pictures because everybody looked great,” Bloom added.

The AVN Expo—which features more than 400 exhibitors representing every area of adult entertainment and appearances by hundreds of adult stars and cam girls—will continue through Saturday afternoon at Hard Rock.

“This is my third show,” said Skyler Lo, a California native who has become one of MFC’s top draws.

Lo will be camming live from the show floor at the MFC booth.

“I love doing that,” Lo said. “I’ll be signing and taking photos and I brought my Polaroid camera with me this year. I’m looking forward to meeting the fans and just everything. It’s a really big year for me.”

The Vegas native Alexa said she was looking forward to Saturday night’s AVN Awards, especially the live musical acts.

“I’m looking forward to Doja Cat and Diplo.” Alexa said. “I want to see who wins the Favorite Cam Girl award, too.”

Alexa said that since her CAMStar issue came out on January 1st that she has received a lot of positive feedback. “My Instagram followers have doubled and my traction is doubling,” she said. “It’s crazy. I can’t even believe it happened. It’s still so surreal to me. I’m excited.”

Bloom will be pulling double duty this weekend—on Saturday she will partner with AVN Hall of Fame performer Nikki Benz to co-host the AVN Awards ceremony.

“I arrived on Monday and I stepped out of the Uber and the first thing I see is just a massive picture of me and I just started laughing because I just couldn’t believe it was happening,” Bloom said. “It’s such an honor and I just feel like I’m walking in the clouds all the time because everybody’s so nice. I’m very excited to go on stage and I’m hoping I’ll do great.”

Bloom, who grew up in her native Ukraine but now resides in Southern California, added, “Nikki’s amazing. I’m really happy that we got paired together. She’s so sweet and so professional and funny.”
