LOS ANGELES—Talent agency LA Direct Models issued a statement Monday afternoon announcing that recently signed performer Olivia Nova has died. The cause of death is currently unknown. She was 20.
According to the agency's statement, "The Las Vegas coroner's office confirmed that they received [Nova] into their facility at 12 Noon on Jan 7. A post mortem examination will be carried out by that office the results of which will not be known for 6-8 weeks they advised. It is understood that next of kin have been informed."
Having only entered the industry last spring and signed with LA Direct in October, Nova, whom the agency called "a beautiful girl with a very sweet and gentle personality," made enough of an impression during her short tenure to pick up a nomination for the upcoming AVN Awards for Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene, for her work opposite Lana Rhoades in the NewSensations.com scene "Lana Is Olivia's Dream."
Nova compiled just over 15 credits since her debut, working for top studios such as Naughty America, New Sensations, Brazzers, Digital Sin, Girlfriends Films and Vixen.
