HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Brittany Andrews, the veteran adult performer and, as DJBritStar, disk spinner who was inducted into AVN's Hall of Fame in 2008, has directed yet another in a long line of mainstream documentaries and short subjects, and this latest result will make its debut on VOD on October 30, 2018.
The third installment of the much-discussed After Porn Ends series finds the adult legend behind the camera directing former XXX greats Tera Patrick, Jenna Presley, Christy Canyon, Luc Wylder, Alexandra Silk, Bonnie Rotten, Hershel Savage, Priya Rai and Jenteal.
Series creator Bryce Wagoner stated, "Even before we got the green light for the movie, I knew that I wanted to hand over the reins to a woman, and not only get a female perspective on the industry, but push for more women leading in film. And when I sat down with my fellow producers after we got the go-ahead, it was a consensus that Brittany would be an amazing/unique choice to take that helm. I really do hope it leads to more work in the mainstream world for her!"
And, of course, Andrews has plenty of experience in the cinematic arts, having graduated film school several years ago and having produced and directed a number of features. One such production, Speed Dragon, was an entry in the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, and her first feature-length documentary, Stage Brother, premiered at the 2012 CineKink FIlm Festival in New York City. Andrews directed the majority of the footage in After Porn Ends 3, with Wagoner handling mainly the post-production.
Also making significant appearances in the film are Romi Rain, Joanna Angel, Buck Angel, Michael Vegas, Abigail Mac, Alex Chance, Tee Reel, Manuel Ferrara, Nicolette Shea, and Kayden Kross.
"They have such huge careers and name recognition, and they know whom they are at their core and have no qualms in stating why some people succeed and fail in the adult industry," Wagoner observed. "You'll be amazed at the perspective and brutal honesty they give to the audience."
Or as Romi Rain states in the feature's trailer, "You choose to be a success story or a sob story in porn nowadays."
After Porn Ends 3 will make its Netflix debut sometime in 2019.
