Bravo U.K. Renews 'Porn Week' Reality Series

LONDON - Virgin Television Media's Bravo network has ordered an expanded fourth season of the UK reality series "Porn Week."

The show offers a behind-the-scenes look at the adult fantasy-camp getaways of the same name organized by award-winning adult director Gazzman and entrepreneur Dave West. Shane's World distributes a hardcore version of the reality show on DVD.

Launched in 2001, the "Porn Week" trips take tourists to adult film sets around the world. The vacation package has been featured in Maxim, FHM and Stuff magazines and was recently named a top 10 adult destination by AskMen.com and AOL.com.

The U.K. Bravo network targets young men with "Dog the Bounty Hunter," "Ultimate Fighting Championship," "Battlestar Galactica" and other Amercian TV Shows such as "The A-Team." In addition to "Porn Week," the network features several other adult-oriented shows including "Sin Cities" and "Cybersex: Web Lives."

"We knew Bravo's response to the show was tremendous and grew with each season, but this took us by surprise," Gazzman said. "We're planning bigger and better Porn Week events so this is great news. Our trip to Los Angeles was in the can when we got word of the expanded season and we're pleased the viewers will be able to watch us on our next stop, St. Tropez in France."

West said the unique experience Porn Week offers - instruction by award-winning directors, nighttime events with porn stars and special castings for participants looking to get in front of the camera - makes for great television and explains the program's growing popularity on networks such as Bravo, Showcase in Canada and iNDEMAND in the U.S.

"What goes on during a shoot is something that many people wonder about," said West, who is now directing for Gazzman's Evil Angel-distributed Harmony Films label. "It's something many people would like to do. Visitors aren't usually invited to sets because they'd just get in the way, but Porn Week's organized so we can do our job and they can watch us work. The guests also get the chance to learn how the business operates and, unlike crowded fan and trade shows, get to know their favorite performers on a one-on-one basis."

The fourth season of "Porn Week" will premiere in Spring 2009. For more information, interested fans may visit www.pornweek.com or email [email protected].
