Brad Armstrong Wraps Production On 'Cam Girl' With Kristen Scott

LOS ANGELES—Wicked Pictures today announced the completion of principal photography on director Brad Armstrong's Cam Girl. Starring newcomer Kristen Scott and established star Angela White, the veteran filmmaker's first dramatic production of 2018 is set in the wildly popular world of interactive webcamming.

Dubbed "the fastest-growing sector of the global pornography business" by the BBC, this decentralized business model has revolutionized adult entertainment in new and unexpected ways.

"With the incredible popularity of camming," Armstrong said, "I thought, What a great time to undertake a related project—not so much a viewer/camera POV type of movie, although we did incorporate a couple of those scenes into the story for effect. But Cam Girl is really more of an inside look into what makes our lead character 'tick.'

"Kristen Scott stars as Kelly Mathews, and she was simply incredible to work with," Armstrong continued. "She dove into the project full force and really became the character. By the end of the movie, it was becoming difficult to tell where Kelly began and where Kristen ended. We follow Kelly both in front of and behind the camera, showing some of the real struggles that lay hidden underneath her bubbly online persona."

In addition to praising Scott's intuitive performance, the director was quick to share his enthusiasm for the rest of the Cam Girl cast as well. "I can definitely say everyone brought their 'A game.' Angela White, for example, was perfect as the wide-eyed innocent trying her luck at camming for the first time."

For her part, the multiple AVN and XRCO award-winning White enthused, "I’m so excited to be featured in Cam Girl. I had the pleasure of doing a girl/girl scene with Kristen Scott, who is an incredible performer and an equally impressive actress. I played Tina, who was being schooled by Kristen’s Kelly on how to webcam. It was an interesting change of pace for me to play a submissive novice, and I enjoyed the challenge. I had a fantastic time on set with the crew and would like to thank Brad and Wicked Pictures for giving me the opportunity to be part of the movie."

According to Armstrong, AVN and XRCO Best Male Newcomer nominee Lucas Frost shines as Kelly's unstable boyfriend, and he credits the director's penchant for perfectionism with helping him craft a standout performance: "I had a great experience working with Brad for the first time. I appreciate his attention to detail and how passionate he is about getting things just right. Cam Girl was a blast to shoot, and it's gonna be a great flick!"

Award-winning performers Small Hands, Honey Gold, and Ryan McLane portray Kelly's protective friends, allies willing to go to extreme lengths to shield her from her volatile boyfriend.

"In Cam Girl, I got to have sex with two of my absolute favorite female performers, Kristen Scott and Honey Gold," Small Hands revealed before adding, "And punching Lucas Frost out with brass knuckles was pretty epic as well!"

With Abella Danger rounding out the ensemble as the "new woman," Armstrong observed, "They all did amazing jobs in their respective roles, and showed exactly why they're such acclaimed performers. Cam Girl is an amazing piece of dramatic erotica, with a great script, great acting, and great sex."
