CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Newly crowned AVN Male and Female Performers of the Year Mick Blue and Anikka Albrite traveled to Blue's homeland of Austria over the holidays to appear together in a mainstream motion picture by director Fritz Treiber entitled Chimney or Pit.
In the movie, the real-life husband and wife—the first-ever such couple to simultaneously claim AVN's top male and female honors—play a famous DJ (Blue) and a grim reaper (Albrite) who comes to take the former away from his thriving life.
"It was a difficult shoot, with everything filmed at night," Blue said. "We had a lot of fun doing it. I love being able to work with Anikka and it was interesting to be able to do a different kind of project. I think it's going to be a great movie."
The trailer for Chimney or Pit is expected to be released by summer, with the movie itself due out by the end of the year.
