LOS ANGELES—The Miami-based Bang Bros porn studio has made a $1 million offer to Iggy Azalea to do her first porn scene on the heels of the superstar rapper becoming an unsigned free agent.
Azalea announced via Twitter on Saturday that she had parted ways with Island Records, tweeting “I’m officially unsigned!”
“Wild you spend so long trying to get IN a record deal… never thought I’d be so elated to be OUT of one,” she wrote. “Now I’m free to release whatever kinda music I like, whenever I’d like woooo!”
Bang Bros responded to her post with its own tweet from @BangBrosDotCom, suggesting, "You should sign with US! AssParade would never be the same."
Then in a letter dated November 3 from Bang Bros executive producer Cullen McRae addressed to Azalea and Beverly Hills-based Career Artist Management, the notorious company that is home to popular series such as Bang Bus and Monsters of Cock wasted no time making a formal proposition.
McRae wrote, "First, I want to personally congratulate you on becoming a free agent. I feel that this will in fact open new doors and new opportunities for you, as well as your music, and we here at the BangBros family are excited to see where your future takes you. In keeping with the idea of new opportunities, BangBros is willing to offer you 1 Million Dollars to appear in BangBros films as an adult performer.
"In addition, as we would like to continue to foster your growth in all areas, we would also offer for you to debut your new music in BangBros and Girls Gone Wild brand films. I am sure that you are already aware that performing in adult material has only served to enhance the careers of many well-known celebrities, including: Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton, Kendra Wilkinson and of course Kim Kardashian.
"Given the climate of mainstream acceptance of adult content on TV, Media, the Internet and Social Media, I am sure that your fans would love the opportunity to get to know you more intimately, and the notoriety of bridging the gap between the Music world and your Adult performances would only enhance your Brand, your Recognition, your Fame and in fact draw new fans to you that might otherwise have not been exposed to your many talents previously."
The offer already has hit hip-hop sites such as XXL and HotNewHipHop, among others.
