CHATSWORTH, Calif.—The industry-only AVN House Party took place Thursday night under excessive heat warnings in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, as hundreds of guests gathered at AVN headquarters. Until pandemic protocols halted in-person partying in 2020, the popular party had been considered the industry's premier summer event, steadily gaining in attendance since the first Party was held in 2016. “I’m so glad you brought this back,” performer Tanya Tate told AVN Editor-in-Chief Dan Miller as they watched a long line of models take turns on the step-and-repeat for photographer Jeff Koga. Starlets in summer dresses, male talent in cargo shorts, agents, industry old-timers, insiders, AVN Hall of Famers, paparazzi, dancers, and a DJ packed the offices and parking lot for a night of networking and fun.
A casual stroll through the crowd revealed a list of old and new industry members in attendance. Super agent Mark Spiegler held court in a couched corner flanked by a bevy of his clients, with OC Modeling and Coxxx Models agencies also well-represented. Veteran performers Tommy Gunn and Marco Banderas clowned for the camera on the step-and-repeat. And Hall of Fame photographer Holly Randall was shooting video while enjoying the party atmosphere, and Playboy’s Holly Ruprecht was there, taking photos of centerfold models. Director/producer duo Will Ryder and Scott David made an appearance, as did sex tape broker Kevin Blatt. Streaming platform AdultTime Brand Ambassadors Leana Lovings and Isiah Maxwell were seen in the mix.
Actress Ariel Demure’s red hot hair matched the weather, while stars such as Kylie Rocket danced salsa in a blue fringe skirt and Channy Crossfire changed into a red party dress to join in the fun. Russian model Sasha Beart, in a sheer, silver dress and pointy black high heels, confessed that her feet hurt as the hour grew late. Veteran actor James Bartholet wore a dapper dinner jacket, while actress Misty Stone did a stylish one-legged, one-shoulder look in an electric blue jumpsuit with matching sky-high suede platforms.
The MyFreeCams crew rolled up in a Tesla Cyber truck. The evening was highlighted by the announcement of the hosts for the 42nd annual AVN Awards to be held on January 25. Adult star Blake Blossom and reigning AVN Favorite Cam Girl OnlineGirl_ (aka Alex Knight) will co-host the red-carpet gala, which will close out the 2025 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, to be held January 22-25, at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
“First off, I’d like to say thank you so much for coming out and making this such a great night,” AVN CEO Tony Rios told party guests during the announcement. “I can’t believe it’s been five years. I really missed the House Party and I’m glad we brought it back.”
The AVN House Party was presented by MyFreeCams and sponsored by PayFasto and ToastDistillers. Attendees were treated to cocktails featuring Toast coconut water vodka and food stations offering tacos, hamburgers, and desserts.
Pre-nomination submissions for the 2025 AVN Awards open on August 15, and will continue through September 15. The official award nominees will be announced on November 21 at a live event in Hollywood.
