LOS ANGELES—Three-time AVN Best Actor, director and Gamma contract performer Seth Gamble follows up his cinemacore hit Money with new effort Vanity, debuting today on Wicked.com with an episode featuring reigning AVN Best New Starlet Blake Blossom.
Directed by Gamble and produced by four-time AVN Director of the Year Axel Braun, Vanity spotlights four industry superstars in visually captivating scenarios. Upcoming episodes feature Charlotte Sins, Ryan Reid and Maddy May.
"Everything I create, whether it's for a visual anthology or a fully-scripted, narrative feature, starts with a single image, a single feeling,” revealed Gamble of the project’s genesis. “With Vanity, I wanted to depict scenes that celebrate the female side of self-reliance and self-assurance. A true belief in oneself from a woman’s perspective. I want to thank Ryan Ray, Billy Visual and the rest of my wonderful crew for helping me bring these concepts to life in a completely visual format, and, of course, my friend and mentor Axel Braun for always pushing me to deliver the best product possible."
For Vanity’s first segment, titled "Drawn to You," Gamble and his crew created a piece of reflective erotica which finds Blossom posing playfully and seductively before a mirror in which an even more glamorous, sensual and idealized version of herself appears. Of their scene together, the director/contract performer confides, "Blake has beauty, personality and real sex appeal that has a virtually universal impact. It's easy to see why she not only won AVN's Best New Starlet award, but their Fan Award for Hottest Newcomer as well. She's an incredibly passionate performer and our scene has real chemistry. She possesses true star power and it is on full display in Vanity."
“I’m so excited to be on Wicked.com again!” said Blossom, who recently played Spider-Gwen in Braun’s parody blockbuster SpideyPool XXX: An Axel Braun Parody. “I was so happy to be booked with Seth because we have great chemistry, and when he explained the idea for this project, I was intrigued. Vanity, to me, means a deep sense of self love and I found myself really immersed into the story. The concept of being turned on by your reflection is deeper than most porn flicks so it was fun exploring my own vanity. I appreciate how detailed Axel is with all of his films not only as a director but also as a producer, and I can’t wait to work with him again! Thank you to Seth for including me in this release and I can’t wait to see everyone’s reactions when they finally watch it! Thank you to the whole team at Wicked, especially Axel, for always being exceptional!”
The Vanity trifecta of Blossom, Gamble and Braun is riding a wave of critical success, having recently swept the 30th Annual NightMoves Awards Show in Tampa, Florida. Braun’s AVN and XRCO award-winning Wicked Comix blockbuster Black Widow XXX: An Axel Braun Parody was the show’s most acclaimed feature, earning both Best Feature and Best Actor, the latter for Gamble’s superlative performance as Deadpool, a role that he recently reprised for the fourth time in Spideypool XXX. Gamble’s own debut as a director of narrative features, the darkly erotic Braun-produced Deranged, received Best Actress in recognition of Kenzie Taylor’s lead performance. And Blossom, currently garnering outstanding notices for her turn in SpideyPool XXX, earned Best Female Performer.
The first episode of Vanity is available to stream now exclusively on Wicked.com.
