LAS VEGAS—Several adult stars reacted to their wins at the after-party Saturday night following the 2024 AVN Awards Show, which capped off the 2024 Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) on The Strip.
Drinks poured heavy, music played and winners shined at the party venue near the state-of-the-art theatre where the show was held.
Porn's biggest night on January 27 highlighted the very best in adult entertainment film and production with more than 130 AVN award-winners announced.
The honors ranged from excellence in trans porn production, technical excellence, cross-segment projects, and a variety of other categories.
Machine Gunner, starring Kira Noir and Tommy Pistol, among others, won Grand Reel as the top narrative production.
The imprints, producers, and performers tied to Vixen Media Group swept up more than two dozen awards across their various verticals. Leading man Hollywood Cash won the award for Best Male Newcomer, fueled by his work for Vixen.
“[This] is surreal,” Hollywood Cash told AVN. “It feels amazing.” AVN profiled Hollywood Cash last summer, pointing out his rapid rise in adult entertainment and his performances with a slate of Vixen brands, including Blacked, Blacked Raw, and Milfy, among others. Cash revealed that he keeps an excerpt from the article as his screensaver on his mobile phone.
Crossover star Maitland Ward presented an award and also won the Best Actress - Featurette award for her appearance in “Casting Couch” from My DP 6 for Tushy.
“It was amazing to just be on the stage,” Ward told AVN. “It was existing to pass on the torch, and I won another featurette actress award. It means so much to me that people came up to me this weekend saying, ‘You changed the narrative, and you’ve overcome so many stereotypes.’”
Kasey Kei won the AVN Award for Best Trans One-on-One Sex Scene with Casey Calvert, via her work in “Muses: Kasey Kei” from the award-winning director Bree Mills and Adult Time.
“Honestly, this feels phenomenal,” Kei said in a brief interview. “Of all the categories that I was nominated for, that was the one that I wanted to win the most. It means so much that I won.”
“Work hard, be professional, be on time, but, you know what, have fun,” Kei said when asked what her advice is to other performers looking to win big like her. “Be yourself. Be authentic.”
Other high-profile wins include Leilani Li, who won Best Trans Newcomer.
Daisy Taylor won Best Thespian - Trans/X. She was unfortunately sick during the AVN Awards. Taylor posted her appreciation for the AVN win on X (formerly Twitter): “[I] came down with the AVN sickies so I couldn’t make it to the awards tonight BUT [I’M] SO BEYOND GRATEFUL!!!!!”
Queenie Sateen, a porn performer and musician, won Best Music for her hand in performing the musical accompaniment to Influence: Vanna Bardot. Calling it a “porn Grammy,” Sateen sang “Under My Influence" in the movie, contributing to the Vixen Media Group haul.
“I won a porn Grammy! It feels amazing,” she said, expanding on her future after winning at AVN. “I have so many goals, but I would like to write, direct, style, and do all of my own music.”
On the front of fan-voted awards, Adam22 and Lena the Plug won Favorite Adult Podcast.
“I am just so proud,” Adam22 said, quickly turning the attention to his wife, Lena, for winning the fan-voted Hottest Boy/Girl Creator Collab award with Jason Luv. “I am even more proud of my wife winning best boy-girl collab with Jason Luv.” “It is really cool to win again. I know that there were a lot of really good podcasts,” Lena explained. Adam22 added, “It’s a great honor.”
Lauren Phillips won her first major award for Best BDSM Movie or Limited Series for directorial and acting work for Adult Time’s Switch. The limited series featured scenes starring Phillips and her colleagues, including the back-to-back (2023 and 2024) AVN Trans Performer of the Year Emma Rose, Hazel Grace, Leana Lovings, Maya Woulfe, Victoria Voxxx, and several others.
“This feels great,” Phillips stated briefly. “This is my first win!”
Other honors include Hall of Fame winners like Kim Airs in the pleasure products division for the AVN Awards.
“It’s a super big thrill—three decades in and counting, and it's just really amazing to be honored this way,” she said. Airs additionally hosted the ‘O’ Awards, which honored excellence in adult novelties and pleasure product manufacturing across the AVN and ‘O’ divisions dealing with these categories.
