NEW YORK—Joan Price—an acclaimed author, speaker, and ageless sex advocate—is touring New York Sept. 2-6.
Price will guest at a variety of events across the city. Audiences are invited to each event to learn about sexuality and aging from the renowned speaker.
“I’m really looking forward to revisiting one of my favorite cities,” Price said. “The audiences I meet in New York, especially seniors, are hungry for solid, practical information about enriching their sex lives, partnered or solo. My mission is to talk out loud about senior sex, and I’m grateful that I have three opportunities during my week in New York. Let’s normalize older-age sexuality. Let’s celebrate it.”
Her schedule is as follows:
• Sept. 2 - Free Sex Advice in the Park
Joan and sexual health advocate and expert Francisco Ramirez will host a free advice session in Union Square Park 5-7 p.m. Sit down and ask them anything about sex.
• Sept. 3 – Great Sex Without Penetration
Price’s presentation at the Upper East Side Pleasure Chest (1150 2nd Ave) from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm highlights ways to have joyful sexual intimacy when penetrative sex is uncomfortable or not possible. Joan will offer alternatives and a new way of thinking about goal-free sex.
• Sept. 5 - 7 Myths of Senior Sex followed by A Women’s Circle
Joan will visit Riverdale Senior Services in the Bronx from 1-6:30 p.m. The senior center will be host to a lecture about the 7 Myths of Senior Sex, a book signing, a screening of Safer Sex for Seniors with Joan Price, and discourse starter Women’s Circle: What Do Women Ask About Sex and Aging? with Joan Price.

In addition to Joan’s presentations, her recent work on Jessica Drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex: Senior Sex is a noteworthy accomplishment.
