LONDON—European-based star Anna de Ville fully takes on the role of director with a new contract announced Wednesday by Harmony Films to helm projects for the company.
This move follows the release last week of the Harmony-produced star showcase Anna de Ville: Sex Addict—currently available exclusively on HotMovies—which de Ville co-directed with Trash Meister.
Harmony deputy CEO Steven Godfrey said he is "ecstatic" about signing de Ville, commenting, "We cannot wait to bring to life Anna de Ville's original and unique visions of hardcore fetishes meshed with glamorous sensuality."
Offered de Ville herself, "I'm honored and absolutely thrilled to begin directing for Harmony Films. I had such an amazing time co-directing my showcase with them, and I can't wait to see what else we can create together. I love the contrast of gonzo and glamour in porn, and Harmony is the perfect company to embody both of those."
Sex Addict co-director Trash Meister said collaborating with de Ville on the production was "a thoroughly enjoyable creative process. Everything from the costumes to the intensity of the scenes themselves were thougt out in detail. It was finely tuned to make the dark erotic showcase Anna was looking for. I loved bringing her ideas and vision to life."
Godfrey noted that following the forthcoming DVD release of Sex Addict, "we will plan a meet and greet opportunity with Anna ASAP. Fans will be able to get their copy of the DVD autographed by her personally. We can't wait to have Anna here with us for the release."
Added de Ville, "I'm very excited for the upcoming DVD signing in London. It will be my first public event in the U.K., and I can't wait to meet my fans and hear firsthand what they think of the movie."
