Amirah Adara Talks Girl/Girl Specialty Performer of the Year Win

LOS ANGELES—Amirah Adara carried extra luggage home with her from Las Vegas in January.

The best kind.

The Hungarian star picked up the second AVN Award of her 14-year career, winning the fiercely competitive Girl/Girl Specialty Performer of the Year at the 41st annual ceremony.

Adara had not attended the AVN Awards Show in person in many years—but this time she was in the building when her name was announced.

“It was an amazing experience to be there when I see my name on the screen!” Adara says. “I was shocked and so happy I cannot even explain!

“And after the show I could pick up my trophy right away. It was funny to carry the trophy home cause it’s heavy so I couldn’t put it in the suitcase so I bought a backpack for it and carried it with me all the way to Hungary.”

Adara, who made her adult debut when she was 18, captured her first AVN Award in 2020—Best Foreign-Shot All-Girl Sex Scene—for her performance in Misha Cross’ Bacchanalia for Evil Angel.

She says her overall 2024 AVN Show experience could not have been better.

“The whole expo and the show was huge!” Amirah tells AVN. “I didn’t come for a few years and it amazed me again. The last time I attended it was in a different hotel so even this was new for me. This hotel is amazing and also the theater for the award show was so beautiful!”

The prolific performer—who was approaching the 900-scene milestone at press time—had switched to only doing all-girl scenes for the past five years, culminating with her AVN triumph.

Adara points to several memorable girl/girl encounters during the eligibility period that she feels may have helped get her across the finish line on awards night.

“Definitely I would say one is for Nubiles Films with Tiffany Tatum and Zazie Skymm shot by my awesome husband Antonio Ross,” she says. “It was the May Fantasy of the Month, which is a big honor for me.

“We could make one of my fantasies come true. I was an innocent girl who had saint Zazie in one shoulder and the sinner Tiffany in the other. They both tried to convince me which is my better side and in the end we all go to enjoy the sin.

“It was amazing.”

Adara also says her performance in “Marla” for Parasited with Tatum and Veronica Leal was one of her best of 2023.

“They are both fuckin’ amazing and hot and nasty and we made the craziest scene ever for our good friend Romero shot by another amazing friend, Roberto di Suna,” Amirah adds.

The performer says she loves hooking up with girls—and it shows.

“They are beautiful, sensual, exciting. They are just amazing!” Adara continues. “In girl/girl scenes I can experience a different kind of sexuality of me. They can get different things and feelings out of me.

“And I have my amazing girlfriend Tiffany Tatum who is the most beautiful and talented girl in the world. With her it’s just so easy to work and we can be always nasty and crazy. I wanna say thank you for her for being a part of my life. Love you!”

Amirah revealed that after her hiatus from working with guys that this year she is returning to the boy/girl arena.

“I stop doing boy/girl five years ago so I could enjoy my beautiful girls but now it’s time for me to come back to fuck some handsome guys again,” Adara tells AVN. “Of course I will do as much girl/girl as I can cause I love doing both. I feel like I have even crazier and nastier mind than before and I wanna show it to the world and to my fans! So more cool stuff is coming this year. Be ready for it!”

When Adara isn’t performing, she often produces for Nubiles in Europe along with her partner Ross.

“My husband is shooting for them long time ago and when we get together I joined the team,” Amirah explains. “I think we make a good team together. And Nubiles is an amazing company to produce for, we love them.

“They always let us create some cool stories we really appreciate them. We wanna say thank you for the whole Nubiles crew to have us on board and be amazing.”

A longtime client of the heavyweight talent agency BrillBabes in Europe and the trusted ATMLA in the U.S., Adara also thanked both for their ongoing support.

“In the beginning I started with a not-so-good agent but thankfully I found BrillBabes after a while. They are always there for me, supporting me,” Amirah says. “We became really good friends, even more, we are family.

“They always make sure I will be safe wherever I go. I can call them if I have any problem. They are the best! About ATMLA I get to know them 10 years ago!

“They are amazing! I am planning to get my working visa and go there [in the U.S.] to work. They are helping me a lot with the process and I really appreciate that. So soon we can reunite again.”

Adara says she has learned so much during her adult industry journey.

“Sometimes I see how I was in the beginning and I smile. I can tell that I grew up in this business!” Amirah says. “I started when I was 18 and this work became a lifestyle since then.

“This business teach me a lot about life and about myself, my sexuality. I became independent and nasty. I am really happy that I can tell I tried almost every part. Performing, producing, directing, content creating, being an agent and even for a little while I was an assistant/talent coordinator on sets, which also teached me lot. And I am very lucky to be able to do what I love.

In fact, Amirah tells AVN, “I always say I’m living my best life right now!”

“This year I have a lot of plans. ... The bitch is back and hungrier than ever.

“For now people can see me in boy/girl action exclusively on my OnlyFans so you know here to go to see how nasty I became! Also I am planning to go to the U.S. and do some more crazy stuff there as well!

“And I gonna start my own production company and website with my amazing husband Antonio so I can share my crazy visions with the world. I really hope they gonna like it as much as I love doing it.”

Her 2024 AVN trophy—which is one of only a few awards categories that features both European and American nominees—has only sweetened an already successful career.

“It means a lot to me! I wanna say thank you again for this award!” Amirah says.
