Alert: Scam Twitter Recruiter Unaffiliated With Spiegler Girls

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Talent agent Mark Spiegler advised AVN Monday afternoon that an entity purporting to recruit models and actresses through Twitter for adult industry work with possible representation by his Spiegler Girls agency is doing so fraudulently.

Using the name "Quantum Ventures" and the Twitter handle @CR_Recruitment_, the account includes a link to the (incorrectly spelled) url speiglergirls.com in its bio and has tweeted both a photo of Spiegler with the caption "The man, the myth, the Legend!" (as taken from Spiegler client Jessie Andrews' Twitter feed) and the claim: "Our recruitment team is working hard to find new #Models and #Actresses and possible #SpeiglerGirls [sic], message us if you're interested."

"They are trying to 'recruit' talent into the adult business trading on my good name and have already contacted several models directly," Spiegler said in an email. "Spieglergirls.com has absolutely nothing to do with [this] Twitter account."
