Adult Time Reboots Vivid's 'Where the Boys Aren't' & 'The Brat'

MONTREAL—Adult Time continues its reinvigoration of the Vivid brand with the release of completely new updates on two classic Vivid series—signature all-girl line Where the Boys Aren't and The Brat—each presented in five episodes.

Where the Boys Aren't kicks off with "Twisted Double Date," available now, in which Adriana Chechik and Scarlett Sage play two women who find their own entertainment when their guys go off to watch TV during a couples' game night.

"Camp Whattabrat," debuting September 18, launches the reboot of the series Adult Time has redubbed The Brats. Alison Ray stars as the bratty camper of the premiere episode, who gets the better of counselor Michael Vegas.

Both originally created and directed by AVN Hall of Fame director Paul Thomas, Where the Boys Aren't and The Brat were two of Vivid Video's most popular franchises during its heydey. The studio released 19 volumes of WTBA between 1989 and 2008, while The Brat—which made a star out of original headliner Jamie Summers—ran 13 volumes between 1986 and 1991, including Army BratBroadway BratBad News BratBeach Blanket Brat, and Nymphobrat.

"When we first started working with Vivid, our first order of business was to honor the original content—the stories, the high-quality budgets and the talented performers that made the Vivid brand world-famous," Adult Time chief creative officer Bree Mills said. "I believe we have succeeded in making some great episodes, and we look forward to hearing what the fans think."
