Adult Time Begins Production on New Pure Taboo Anthology Series

MONTREAL, QC—In mainstream film, horror is an incredibly popular genre nowadays, and in Adult Time's new original anthology series Under the Bed from Pure Taboo, horror meets hardcore in the best way. The first scene of the new series is set for release this October, just in time for Halloween.

After two successful seasons of Future Darkly, a dark homage to science-fiction, series creator Bree Mills, the award-winning filmmaker (in)famous for pushing the boundaries of modern adult film, presents a serious take on horror within adult content production; one might say, a love letter from one marginalized cinematic genre to another.

"I am so excited for Adult Time to be tackling the horror genre, especially with such a diverse mix of filmmakers behind the project!" said Mills, who, as the company’s Chief Creative Officer, has helped guide every detail of the production’s development.

The upcoming series, which Mills describes as “modern horror television for adults that happens to have sex in it,” will feature four episodes from four adult and mainstream directors, released weekly throughout October.

Mills is set to write and direct an episode, while AVN Hall of Famer Joanna Angel will also bring her creativity and talents to an Under the Bed episode. Eric Falardeau, a Montreal-based director known for 2012’s cult feature film Thanatomorphose, will direct an episode, and Fred August, a genre cinema enthusiast with a fashion background, will helm an episode as well.

The first YouTube teaser for Under the Bed is up now at YouTube.com; the trailer and series are set to premiere in October at PureTaboo.com and the dedicated channel on the Adult Time platform at AdultTime.com, home to an extensive catalog of award-winning content, with access to over 100 channels and 60,000 episodes in one subscription.
