Adult Film Stars Among Cast of Mainstream Horror Film

Adult film stars such as Callie Calypso, Kelsie Monroe, Alexis Fauxx, Charlotte Cross, Naomi Woods, Joseline Kelly, Ava Sanchez and Sean the MILF Hunter have gone mainstream in the all new horror movie, The Everglades Killings. Also in the cast: Veteran "scream queen" Linnea Quigley. The movie premieres on November 12 at 10 p.m. at the Chelsea Theater in New York City at the NYC Horror Film Festival.

According to a synopsis of the film provided to AVN, as the film opens, it’s March in South Florida. The beach towns are flush with young people looking for action and excitement, but for one unlucky group of thrill-seeking spring breakers, their adventure leads to the black waters of the Florida Everglades—a place with mosquitoes the size of birds, snakes as long as school buses and tens of thousands of flesh-ripping alligators. But beyond the scope of the traditional predators famous for keeping the glades wild is another phenomenon—one with two legs and an insatiable thirst for killing.

The idea for the film came when producer Ash Billington stopped for a beer after a morning duck hunt in the Everglades. He met a group of young people spending Christmas break at a grandmother’s inland condo, and they wanted to know all about the glades. Even as Billington urged them to stay in the blue water of the Gold Coast, he couldn’t help but wonder what would happen if they ventured into the sawgrass?

With the homegrown appeal of a reasonably believable situation and all of the elements of a classic slasher flick, The Everglades Killings will likely have many viewers bypassing the swamp and pretty much all natural areas for a very, very long time.

The film’s producers maintained authenticity by keeping the cast in the dark.

“We told them they were going to get blindly dropped in the swamp, and that’s exactly what we did,” stated director Ben Wilder. “It was incredible to watch and capture their reactions; these kids went from the sound stage in Miami to walking barefoot in a swamp in the middle of nowhere. It’s never been done, until now."
