Adam & Eve Franchising, the retail division of Adam & Eve, has signed its first franchise agreement for a store in California.
The company has signed a contract with adult performer Nick Manning and his business partner Dean Sussman to open an Adam & Eve store in West Hollywood. The deal is the first for a store that would be located in California, the company said.
A veteran performer, Manning says he hopes to continue in the company’s tradition of offering a couples-friendly environment and great service.
Adam & Eve currently has 15 retail stores, 14 of which are franchise shops, located in North Carolina, Florida, Massachusetts and one coming to Michigan.
“We are excited to work with Nick and dean on this new venture,” said Jason Hoke, general manager of Adam & Eve Franchising.
“We feel Nick’s first-hand knowledge of the adult industry gives him a distinct advantage in this retailing market.”
The company is still looking for others interested in opening their own Adam & Eve franchises, Hoke added.
Adam & Eve stores feature a variety of adult-themed products such as lotions and bath gels and other health care products as well as adult novelty items, clothing and adult videos.
