Adam & Eve Pictures Wraps 'Love, Sex & Throuple Trouble'

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Vanna Bardot and director Will Ryder have wrapped principal production on a feature comedy for Adam & Eve Pictures that spotlights three-way marriages, romantic entanglements and sister wives. The original comedy Love, Sex & Throuple Trouble shines a light on the growing practice of couples adding a sister wife—which some refer to as a "throuple."

“At first I didn’t know what a throuple was but we had a lot of fun creating this scripted relationship comedy,” Ryder remarked.

“I had heard the term ‘sister wife’ but the subject was mostly brand new territory for a lot of us, so I wrote the story centered on an LAPD detective played by Vanna that’s in a dead-end marriage that enlists the help of a cute grocery store clerk to help save her relationship.”

Newcomer Athena Anderson joins Bardot in the ensemble cast which includes Anna Claire Clouds, Dakota Tyler, Cassie Del Isla, Lucy Doll, Nathan Bronson, Charles Dera, Brad Newman, Dorian Del Isla, Frank Bukkwyd and Lily Craven as the loud-mouth meddling mother-in-law.

“I love this cast as they had the perfect combination of sex appeal and humor,” co-producer Scott David added.

Earlier this year, Ryder directed Bardot in the heavily award-nominated country music drama Love, Sex & Music where the brunette beauty earned an AVN Best Supporting Actress nomination.

“I think we waited a whole two minutes to cast Vanna again,” Ryder quipped.

“I play a police detective who is in a rapidly crumbling marriage so I bring in a beautiful sister wife to enhance and save our relationship only to discover she has a passion for robbing banks,” Bardot added.

Bardot can be seen in an SFW trailer for the Grand Reel-nominated country music drama Love, Sex & Music on YouTube.
