HOLLYWOOD - The agency formerly known as Exotic Star Models has changed its name to A-List Talent, and plans to celebrate its new moniker and image with a blowout Friday night at Hollywood's LAX nightclub.
"The reason I decided to change the name of the company was because we're pursuing a lot more mainstream work for our talent," owner September Dawn told AVN, "and I found that when I would meet people in the mainstream arena, they kind of had a pre-judgment of the company based on the word 'exotic.' And so I just decided to kind of re-create a more brandable name and image to the company, something that would work well to crossover."
The company has a new website up at www.alisttalent.com, and the official launch party is being co-hosted by A-List starlets Charlotte Stokely, Ashley Steel, Sophia Santi and Angie Savage.
Tyler Faith is the fifth host lined up for the night. Also expected to attend are Alexandra, Amy Ried, Brea Bennett, Kimberly Kane, Alektra Blue, Charmane Star, Faye Reagan, Haileey James, Havana Ginger, Jada Fire, Jade Starr, Jayme Langford, Karlie Montana, Lindsey Meadows, McKenzie Lee, Page Morgan, Regan Reese, Samantha Ryan and many others.
There also will be a free breast enlargement from Dr. Motykie of E! Entertainment's "Dr. 90210" raffled off at 1 a.m., to benefit charity The Healing Curve. And AdultModelsNetwork.com will be heralding the launches of new websites ClubAnnaBelleXXX.com and RachelLuv.com.
The party, Dawn said, "is open to the industry. The party starts at 9:30, the red carpet is at 10:30, and there's going to be a lot of different press, as far as our industry and mainstream, as well."
Dawn added that a softcore division is under development for the company, but otherwise, it's business as usual. "Everybody's still here, it's all the same crew," she said. "It's just pursuing more work in other arenas, and not only in the adult industry."
