An update on the "Zoning Out Censorship" event which is scheduled for Bob's Classy Lady [between Van Nuys and Sepulveda], May 18 - As originally reported, Janine will NOT be one of the co-hosts. According to Marty Turkel, she bowed out of the event but didn't offer any reasons. Girls who will appear at the event are Alexa, Alicia Rio, Anita Cannibal, Brook Hunter, Chloe, Dasha, Felecia, Inari Vachs, Juli Ashton, Kendra Jade, Kobe Tai, Kylie Ireland, Kristina St. James, Madeline Knight, Midori, Raylene, Selena Steele, Sky, Tabitha Stevens, Temptress and Tina Tyler. As more girls are added, their names will be announced.
Ron Jeremy will emcee while Juli Ashton and Kylie Ireland will be co-hosts. Turkel also makes it very clear that no cameras will be permitted other than those carried by assigned photographers. Turkel said part of the fund-raising aspect of the evening is having Polaroids taken with the stars and allowing private cameras in would defeat that purpose.
Turkel: "The reason that this is being done is that there is a lot of zoning where they're saying the 'secondary effects' of the stores are causing the neighborhoods to have more crime and so forth. To get a positive study of all adult establishments is very expensive. We're raising funds for that specific purpose. Everyone's behind this event and there will be a full house."
